# Create new series

Read this article first:  
**What you need to know before building a course**

To build our own course, we create a new series.

-   Go to [**console.wizzflix.com**](https://console.wizzflix.com/) and log in with your manager account
-   Go to **menu**
-   Choose **Series**
-   Click on the **\+ icon** to create a new series
-   Click on the **arrow** to start with an empty series
-   **Enter** **a** short but clear **name**
-   Indicate that it is the first version by entering **0.1**
-   Choose as **type: course**
-   The image you add here will become the banner that can be seen at the top of the app for the entire course
-   **Save** the series by going to another tab
